Art Director / Lead Web Designer

Ann comes to Act One Creative with more than 20 years in project management, graphic design and marketing. Her creativity and design aesthetic is apparent in her award-winning work which has been recognized at both a national and local level. Her background includes diverse experience in corporate and small business environments including start-up and multinational companies.

Ann specializes in branding and cohesive design systems as applied to website and media development, print materials, social media, and publishing. She is an experienced art director, and has taught at two major universities where she was known for her courses in typography, design integration, identity and concept development.

Community Involvement

Ann's community involvement, memberships and achievements include:

New Hampshire: R&B Productions Board Member; Leadership Concord participant; Conant Artists-In-the-Schools committee; Community Plate Committee (Chair, 4 years); Best Small Retail Website, NH Business Review.

Colorado: CBCC – Colorado Breast Cancer Coalition Volunteer (associated with Denver Day of Caring, Race for the Cure, and Susan B. Komen Foundation); Senior Designer on team voted "Fastest Growing Business," Boulder Chamber of Commerce; Print Magazine Outstanding Identity Award (CareCuts AIDS benefit).

Ohio: AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Artists) member/participant; 3x winner, American Greetings Scholarship for Illustration and Design.

Alaska: Literary Arts Program Coordinator (and Committee Chair), Fairbanks Arts Association; Conflict Mediation Program and Artists-in-the-Schools Liaison, Weller Elementary; First Runner-Up, Student Teacher of the Year, University of Alaska, Fairbanks; Award recipient and Alaska State Writing Consortium Fellow.
