The Strategic Marketing Plan

An effective marketing program starts with a plan that outlines goals, schedules and recommended actions. To develop this plan, Act One Creative will meet with you to discuss your past marketing efforts and establish goals for any current or future campaigns. If desired, we can do market research to help you become more familiar with your target demographic. We will also inform you of current marketing trends.

The next step is to help you determine who your potential customers are and which marketing vehicles would best reach them. This may include using web, print, broadcast or internet advertising, public relations opportunities, social media marketing (via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.), targeted delivery through hand-held devices, and much more.

An overall plan will be developed for you that includes recommendations for how to best utilize each medium, including design style, placement, and appropriate timing — key factors for success. 

The marketing plan serves as an overall guide for preparing strategies, setting deadlines and keeping budgets in line. It gives you clear picture of what projects will be executed and provides a sequencial framework to make sure that all parts of the plan will complement one another and will be consistent in their messaging and imagery. 

Marketing Program Execution

The execution of the plan involves staying on top of deadlines and schedules and making sure materials are prepared and delivered on time.

A staff member of Act One Creative will schedule regular meetings with you for updates, evaluation of program effectiveness, and follow-up. We will also act as your representative preparing and delivering materials, coordinating with the media, and working with printers and other vendors on your behalf.

No marketing program is complete without measured results.

Act One Creative can provide tools, reports, and specific recommendations to help you monitor and fine tune your marketing efforts during your campaign. We can also help you assess the return on your investment when the campaign has come to a close, or (in the case of websites or social media) on an onging basis.
